Local Lloyds Bank Supports ACE

As Arise Community School reopened its doors for the new school year this week, today we were delighted to receive a cheque for £500 from our local branch of Lloyd’s Bank in St. Helens, Merseyside.

Senior Bank Manager, Phil Burton, is determined to support local charities and community groups like ACE. Moved by the circumstances of the children and their desire to learn, the bank’s donation, along with others which we have very gratefully received for the purpose during the course of the year, has helped to complete the fourth classroom ready for use this term.

“Firstly just wanted to say how delighted Lloyds Bank St Helens is to support such a great charity. We have been involved with Ron and Sue for just on 12 months and have seen just what a great job they do and all the volunteers do in making this charity such a great and worthwhile cause. The difference the work you all do makes a real difference to the children’s lives and education and the short videos I have witnessed are so heart felt.

I would like to say a BIG well done to the ACE Charity and please continue in making a difference. I look forward to supporting you all again this year.

Congratulations each and every one of you.

Regards

We would like to thank Phil for his tremendous support and all of his interest in the work of ACE.

This week, we had very much hoped to bring you photos of the children starting back at school and of the finished classroom. Unfortunately, the wifi at the school is not good at the best of times and, this week, it has been very poor. We hope that next week we will be able to bring you them.
