Africa's Children in Education

ABC Class Sing……Number 1, Where are you?

As we said in last week’s blog, we received such a very warm welcome when we arrived back at Arise School last week. Every class had learned a new song to greet us. The children sung them and did the actions with such gusto. The teachers had done a great job of teaching them.

For the youngest children in the ABC Class, this was probably their first public performance! Some of them are barely three years old and very new to school. It is also their first experience of learning English. Many of the children can already count to 10 – even if, in their eagerness, some did hold up their number in the wrong place!

Their performance was a delight! It was brilliant watching them. Well done, Teacher Veronica! They are already a credit to you and Arise School.
